WELCOME TO THE CANTON YOUTH BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION (CYBA)

Canton Youth Basketball Association is a not-for-profit organization governed by an elected Board of Directors and operated with the assistance and support of coaches, parents and other volunteer members of the community. Our primary goal is to provide the youth of Canton, Massachusetts with the opportunity to develop their basketball skills in a safe, positive environment with an emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship, and competitive play.

Intown Hoop Schedule Information Coming Soon. Registration is open for grades K thru 3. Grades 4th thru 8th are closed with a wait list.

CYBA will post the schedule as soon as it is known, but please register now REGARDLESS OF POTENTIAL CONFLICTS as there is no risk. CYBA always works to avoid overlapping with hockey, Learn to Skate, Dolphins, and more as we appreciate all of these programs. CYBA will give a full refund if you have to withdraw due to conflicts once our schedule is posted. Thank You

Intown Hoop Registration

Canton Youth Basketball Association is excited to announce the 2024-2025 Intown Hoop Season is starting!!

The Intown Hoop season begins the first week of December and runs through the middle of March. Registration is still open for Grades K thru 3. Registration for Grades 4 thru 8 is closed. If you are interested in playing reach out to registrar.

Intown is for Canton residents only in grades K-8 for $120.00 for the season
No tryouts. All registered kids play
All Intown Sessions held on Saturday's
Travel players pay a discounted rate of $40.00 for the season, but must register in the “Intown for Current Travel Players” section to receive the discounted rate. All applications will be verified.
Intown Setup:
(K-3rd) Dev (Development) League Program
(4th-8th) Pro League Program
- Kindergarten is coed. We will have a one hour morning session and an afternoon session. This session will be skill based and working on basketball skills using fun techniques
- 1st Grade is a one hour session consisting of working on skills and building the knowledge of the game of basketball
- 2nd Grade is a one and a half hour session consisting of skills, building the knowledge of the game, and breaking out into games to finish the session
- 3rd Grade is one and a half hour session for the first 6 weeks, followed by 60 minute practices and 30 minute games for the second six weeks
- 4th Grade to 8th Grade is our Pro-League program consisting of a 30 min practice and a one hour game each week.
We need lots of parent volunteers, especially in the younger grades. Please check the box to help coach on your player’s registration if you can help.
CYBA does not want kids to miss out for financial reasons. Please reply here if financial assistance is needed.

Travel Basketball Registration is Closed

Canton Youth Basketball Association is excited to announce registration for the 2024-2025 Travel Basketball Season is now closed!! Teams are being prepared for the season. Registration for in-town, which is our recreational program (Grades K-8) is now open.

For Travel Basketball (Open to 4th Grade to 8th Grade)

-Travel is CYBA's competitive program. Canton teams participate in the Metrowest Basketball League
-Registration is for Travel Tryouts
-Registration Fee is $375. Uniforms, if needed, will be additional cost. Multi-child discounts for registration will apply
-All new players must have a uniform, which is ordered when you register. For returning players, please check last year's uniform in case you will need to order a new item.
-Registration and Uniform fees are fully refunded if the player does not make a roster
-Tryouts run late September to mid-October. Each group has two tryout sessions
-After rosters are set, practices start after fall sports conclude (late October)
-Two 90-minute practices during the week, with games on Sundays
-Season runs early December thru playoffs in early March
